Argon Zark — coder, inventor, and all-around geek — has written "Personal Transport Protocol" or PTP, which allows him and his companions to be physically transported into the Internet.

Argon and his friend, Zeta Fairlight — entrepeneur, artist, adventurer and part-time delivery driver — have logged into the web with PTP, and are following random URLS as a bit of sport.

They are accompanied by Cybert — Argon's brilliantly conceived but in some ways... um, suboptimal — robot.
