A History of Webcomics Chapter Heading

This image was done in 2006 as a chapter heading for A History of Webcomics by T Campbell. Argon, Zeta and Cybert peer out of a Netscape 1 browser window (Netscape had just come out when I started Argon Zark!), and point at characters from Hans Bjordahl's Where the Buffalo Roam (incorporating Hans' own drawings), ensconced in windows of the first and second generation of Mosaic, the first widely used graphical browser on the web.

The book reproduces pages 56 and 57 from the webcomic and a pencil drawing of Argon, Zeta and Cybert. It's an in-depth look at the origins and development of webcomics from the "Stone Age" when Argon Zark! and a few others were scattered about the vast empty plain of prehsistoric cyberspace, to the huge metropolis of current webcomics.
